Ooh La La It's All Change For French Vogue!

I am a massive fan of French Vogue and Carine Roitfeld in particular, so it came as a shock to hear she would be leaving the magazine in January. I do love the British and US Vogue but there is something extra special about French Vogue. It's always very forward thinking and fashion focused, preferring models to grace the cover rather than celebrities!

The photography is always edgy and very French. Carine said herself in an interview with The Guardian 'I like to have something every month that is - how you say? - not politically correct. A little bit at the limit. Sex, nudity, a bit rock'n'roll, a sense of humour. That is very French Vogue.'

Her first issue in 2001 featured Kate Moss on the cover, with the centre spread shot by Mario Testino.
